Discover Rock Kitchen & Creamery, a fresh take on the local eatery lovingly crafted by first-generation Italian-Americans, Giuseppe and Filomena Oliveri. Here in the heart of Glen Rock, we’re on a mission to share our kitchen and create some hometown magic.
Our family history
Nourishing people with good food is our family’s love language. Our love for ingredients was nurtured early in our parents garden, spending our summers planting basil, eggplants, tomatoes – and tending to our Nonna’s favorite fig trees. Our kitchen represents recipes handed down and constantly perfected by generational fine-tuning. Cooking is the glue of our family. The center for socializing and the backbone of being Italian.

Whether you opt for a classic scoop or indulge in our creative ice cream offerings, we promise an unforgettable finale to your dining experience. When our kids came to us requesting ice cream, we jumped at the chance to create a new family food tradition. Having nothing like it in town, we saw an opportunity to bring our sweet creations to life for everyone to enjoy. Having fun in the kitchen we experiment with vanilla’s, salts, and chocolates, to come up with the most delicious and refreshing flavors. Whether coming in from a game, nursing a scraped knee, or simply gathering to enjoy a sweet treat, our ice cream has you covered.
